As a squad, we have experienced brokenness, a brokenness that forces us to the feet of Jesus, saying “We have nothing, we are nothing, but YOU have empowered us with the Holy Spirit. ” And that has given us the power to look straight in the face of the devil and say,
“You have no hold on my life, you have been destroyed by the blood of Jesus Christ. I will not allow myself to fall in your wickedness, hopelessness and temptation. I stand against you and against the power you are holding on the nations.”
I have never felt the power of prayer like I have this last week at training camp. Prayer that overflows from within us, forcing its way directly to God’s ear. We are not created to have a voice of weakness and hesitancy. We are created with a voice of power, a power of the Holy Spirit that can heal the lame and raise the dead.
Our nation is losing this power, not because we can’t have it, but because we do not choose it. Why is that? Why do we choose to show Christ as weak and insecure. Is that what we believe? Then why do we live our lives holding back from accepting the power Christ desires to give those who ask? What is there to fear, when God is on your side? (Romans 8:31)
Have you chosen to live your life in the power of prayer and of the Holy Spirit? If not, what is your identity in Christ?
God desires YOU. His plan for your life is greater than you’ve ever dreamed, do not miss out.
