The Perfect Gift!
Give a Gift that Tells a Story of Empowerment & Transformation
Hi there! My name is Sarah Barnett, founder of International Blessings.
We believe job creation is the long term, sustainable answer to eliminating and preventing poverty. Most people do NOT want to ask for a handout or receive charity. Just like you, they want the opportunity to provide for their families, to maintain their dignity.
Throughout my travels to over 20 countries, I am continually amazed at the creativity and the talent that can be found all over the world. These artisans were making jewelry and other products out of things that we would consider trash or useless like paper, seeds, aluminum cans, or even fishscales!
In 2007, I was in Burkina Faso, Africa and sitting next to a girl that was teaching me her craft. I realized what a difference it would make for her family if I could purchase a large amount of her bags. That idea became International Blessings.

We have received maybe 4 boxes now and love each and every piece. My young adult daughters and I haven’t received anything we didn’t like…which is uncommon with subscription boxes. This is the first ever subscription box that I haven’t cancelled. I have even gone to their online store and purchased other pieces. Thank you so much for all you do!
I got this box because I thought it sounded like a great idea to do something for myself while also doing something for someone else. I couldn’t be happier with it! My first box was a beautiful quartz crystal necklace, and I’m a big crystal lover, so this couldn’t have been more perfect for me. Besides, it feels really good to know you’re contributing to a good cause! Can’t wait to see what next month’s box is!
I absolutely LOVE it! The quality of craftsmanship on the cosmetic bag alone is impressive. It’s something I might find in a trendy boutique for probably more then I spent on the whole box. I love the jewelry as well. The earrings came in a cute little pouch. A lovely touch. & I get to feel good about how I spent my dollars as well. I highly recommend this subscription box to anybody who likes high quality handmade handicrafts. Thank you Sarah. You’ve done a great thing here!
I love this box! The curater, Sarah does an amazing job of putting together a mix of unique pieces with a description of where they came from. It’s well worth the price and for a very worthy cause. I would highly recommend this box to anyone. I have enjoyed every single box I’ve received!
This monthly subscription is a great way to bless others and yourself . The jewelry pieces are beautiful and well-made. Also, the customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend giving this box a try.
I received my first International Blessings box and I love it! I got unique and colorful earrings from Uganda. They were yellow and eye-catching. I also got a moisturizing chapstick that my husband and I cannot stop using! I love getting jewelry that helps a cause.
