The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?
When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh,
when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.
Though an army besiege me, even then will I be confident.

One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.
Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me;
at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the Lord.
Psalm 27:1-6

Hey, just wanted to share this verse and let all of you know that I will not be blogging for the next several weeks. Our next month of ministry is in a place that people must worship our God in private, that people deal with persecution every day. Persecution that is serious and real, something that we do not even begin to face in the United States. These people can be thrown in prison, tortured, etc for doing things that we take for granted every day, such as worship, praying, and opening sharing about Christ. This is the possible fate of locals, as a U.S. citizen, it is legal to be a Christian, but there is always the possibility of being deported, but any true persecution is highly unlikely. DO NOT FEAR, only LIFT UP PRAYERS for our squad and especially for the people who deal with these things daily. I will have no communication, internet, phone, etc, while in this place, because we will not take any chance of hurting our contacts or their ministry. This is to protect them. Please be understanding of this. I will blog as soon as I have the opportunity. I love you all and thank you in advance for your prayers. In Christ, Sarah
